The relationship you have with your therapist is one of the most important factors in determining how successful therapy will be for you.

I imagine that you’re looking for a therapist you can relate to, who really gets what you’re going through.

Maybe you’re not sure anyone can actually understand. I’m here to tell you I get it, you aren’t alone and it can get better.

I’m Liz, a psychotherapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NYC. I know how tough it can be to find your place and navigate life at a time when there is so much expected of you. Whether you are feeling stressed by your own expectations for yourself and your life, or overwhelmed by the expectations of your family and friends, we can process and work through it, and identify ways of making things feel more manageable.

I am passionate about helping neurodivergent people and those with social anxiety better understand themselves, embrace their differences and build confidence. Therapy can provide a safe space where you can show up as yourself, without fear of judgement or criticism. Together we can figure out strategies that work for you so you can take back control, find your confidence and get back on track to living a happy and fulfilling life.

In therapy we establish meaningful goals and identify tangible steps you can take to reach those goals, to push past whatever is getting in the way of a happier, more confident you.
